When we recorded The Memento with Chris Vallejo at his home Linear Studios we came back a few days later and recorded a track which was used for an article Chris was doing for the audio mag Audio Technology.
We decided to use a track we had kicking around called Within a vacuum

Auckland Fire
About three songs into the Auckland show the whole club was escorted out of the building cause a fire alarm had gone off. WTF?? This ain’t never happened before. No one was hurt thank god and we were back jamming in know time.
About Me
We're nearly all back. Well, I didn't go anywhere. I stayed at home to make sure the rosemary plants got watered. Things have been moving though. Our new single comes out in a few days, The Memento. It's already on the airwaves I believe?? National radio! How about that? Thank you J's. We're back in the rehearsal studio next week and then straight down south to Melbourne to get lost in the alleyways. I got my most favourite cafe in the world down there and it's always a fucking mission to find it. I know where the area is of course but i swear the thing hides from me. Just around the corner like a child who wants to be caught cause he knows he's going to get sweets but wants to fuck with you for a bit first. Little shit.
Then we'll be back up north for a few shows. No shows to report back at home. I don't know why? It's probably cause we got a shit load of new songs which we're to scared to play in case we get laughed at. We know you wouldn't do that but you know what's like standing in front of a million people naked with your hands tied behind your back. "Don't get a boner, Don't get a boner", "fuck!"

I ain't ever read any H.G Wells before and The Time Machine landed in my lap the other day so it's back to the books for me. I love reading but the phases wash in and out. Half the time i can't put a book down, the other half is just lazy. He's a bit of a futurist.

Becoming more and more obsessed with Brian Wilsons Smile. Possibly the best album ever made.
We jammed last night this Saturdays songs (new songs)((not necessarily our songs))(((2 covers)))and we never liked the idea of doing other peoples songs but we had a giggle so maybe we might start playing Zepplin songs from now on. (NO fucking way)((I'd kick my own arse for peforming such blatant sacrilege))
In other news, I think I need a holiday?????
